Ridgites Start a Petition to Call for a Townhall To Discuss The Visitation Property

Bay Ridge residents are concerned about the recent sale of Visitation’s School and Church property. Info about the sale: https://shorturl.at/j2MUw

They have started a petition to hold a townhall to discuss the property. If you want to sign the petition, it is here: https://shorturl.at/2ZCuS

Council Representative Kayla Santosuosso doesn’t know how to hold a meeting for the public (remember Brannan only did one and it was a disaster. Kayla held a meeting about the Staples property. She had no chairs for residents to sit on.

Many seniors left the meeting because they needed to sit. Santosuosso showed she didn’t want community input (she wanted it to look like she wanted it).

Why Did He Take Plants on 74th Street and 4th Avenue in Bay Ridge?

On Thursday, October 24th, a man and woman walked on 74th Street and 4th Avenue with their small black and white dog. (The man is shown above.) They passed a home with beautiful mum plants on the steps.

The man handed the woman the plastic bag he was carrying. Then the man walked back to this home and climbed the steps.

He leaned down and took our neighbor’s mum plant.

Then he walked away with the plant.

He repeated this two more times.

Who knows him?
